1) Use an eyelash curler before applying mascara. It will give your eyelashes that movie star dramatic curl.

2) Take mascara globs off the mascara wand with a tissue before you apply it.

3) Apply the mascara from the base of your lashes out with a zig zag motion. Make sure that you apply more at the base than at the tips. This will give you that thick,lush lash appearance.

4) To make your eyes look bigger and more dramatic just coat your upper lashes. Leave your bottom lashes clean.

If you happen to smudge mascara on your skin, never try to rub it off. This only creates a smudge, plus rubbing the sensitive area around your eyes is never a smart move. Instead dab a bit of concealer on a q-tip and gently pat it on to the smudge.
