Dressing as a superhero is the imaginary game all boys enjoy playing at a young age. Batman is one of their favorite heroes. That infamous mask with the pointed ears and the long black cape is worn by kids at Halloween and year round. So, why not throw your child a Batman party for his next birthday? To start your party, you will need to find your party supplies. Invitations, paper goods, decorations, thank you notes and party favors can be found at both local stores or online. Make sure if you order supplies online for your Batman party that you leave plenty of time for shipping. Next you will need to think about the cake. If you wish to get a specialty cake from the local bakery or grocer, be sure to order at least a week in advance. Have a designated person to pick up the cake and make sure the vehicle is air conditioned in hot weather to avoid melting the icing. Party games at a Batman party will be a big hit! Why not have "Pin the Bat on the Bat Signal" (instead of the traditional donkey) or "Batman May I" (instead of the traditional mother)? You can also play something like "Hot Batmobile" by passing a toy Batmobile around a circle or "Musical Chairs" to music from one of the Batman Movies or the animated series. Last, you can do an activity where the kids will decorate a bat shaped cookie. Bake some plain sugar cookies cut out in the shape of a bat. Buy various icings and sprinkles and your kids will have a fun treat while they watch a Batman cartoon. There are so many ideas for a Batman party! Just be sure to plan ahead, so your party will not be rushed and it will be an enjoyable event instead of a stressful one. |
